Merry Christmas…

Happy Holidays…. Hope that you get to enjoy the holiday season with friends and family. Have a great year in 2012!

New Homepage Art Challenge

This challenge is open to all of our group members… whether you joined at the beginning or just today.  We are looking for contributions to be entered into the November Art folder in our Photos section.  This challenge will be open until November 1, 2011.  At that time, we will vote on the artwork that will grace our group’s home page.  The only requirement for your entry is that it must be colored with Copic markers, so get them out and get ready to play with them!  Join in on the fun and show off your stuff.

And our July winner is….

Congratulations, Cheri, on winning the $10 voucher for digital images from Tellen’s Place Designs. Your card is beautiful, and I hope you enjoy your prize. Please feel free to share anything that you create with the new images, too!

The winner for a pack of Cryogen paper, courtesy of Paper Temptress, is Stef!  Here is Stef’s gorgeous, and very glitzy card… definitely holds up to the name GlitterBabe!

On behalf of the Copic Musketeers, I would like to thank all of our participants this time around. Please join us for the July challenge.

Add a Little Sparkle…

This month’s challenge is to create a card that celebrates friendship.  Friendships are such an important part of our lives, and they add a certain sparkle to our days.  Please create a project this month to celebrate our relationships with each other and add a little sparkle to it.  This can be glitter, shimmer, whatever you fancy.  You can keep it simple, or you can glitz it out!  Whatever you do, it’s up to you… just make sure it shines!

Our sponsor this month is Tellen’s Place Designs.  She is offering a $10 coupon to the Tellen’s Place Designs store.  If you’d like to take a look at the fun images, please do!

About Tellen’s Place Designs:
I, Terry Oulboub, started this challenge blog in November of 2009 with the hopes of sharing my son’s art with the rest of the crafting world.  These images are hand drawn with signature characters, Edward and Allison (Ally) and their friends.  We then developed Divas, Moms and Teens and our latest addition is our dark character images, as there was a specific request for these from bloggers.  We really enjoy seeing our images come to life on paper and how other crafters utilize them in their crafty projects. Our design team cannot seem to get enough of these wonderful images that are designed for everyone to use.  We really enjoy them and hope that you will too!

Thanks, Cat!

…for passing along the Stylish Blogger award to our group! Well, here are 8 things about this group:

1.  Our parent group is a Yahoo Group by the same name. It can be found here.
2.  The Copic Musketeers Yahoo Group was started in 2010 by Febe, Melanie and Danielle.
3.  The purpose of the Copic Musketeers is to encourage others to participate in group activities and USE those Copics!
4.  We host various swaps, challenges, and RAKs within the Yahoo Group itself.  Those activities are only open to group members.
5.  The Copic Musketeers blog hosts a monthly challenge with varying themes, open to anyone.  The only requirement is that Copics are used in the project’s creation.
6.  The Copic Musketeers encourages all members to share what they know, talk about what they want to learn, and share about their lives.  After all, we do want to encourage our members in Copics and more!
7.  This version of the Copic Musketeers blog started February 24, 2011.
8.  The new version of the Blog Badge is now on our sidebar.

It’s a Guy Thing Winners

As we are transitioning from Blogger to WordPress, we apologize for any blips. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with our group, Copic Musketeers hosts a monthly blog challenge for our Yahoo Group. February’s challenge was to create a “manly” card or project using a sentiment from Create with TLC.

Well, ladies… Thank you for some fantastic entries this past month.  And now, on to the winners…

Congratulations to Cat, winner of our Grand Prize: a gift certificate to Paper Temptress in the amount of $25!  Congratulations to Stef H and Lis, winners of a pack of Cryogen paper from Paper Temptress!  Congratulations to Rhonda, winner of a $10 gift certificate from Oozak!

We hope that you enjoy your prizes, and please share any projects that you create with them!

Stef, the link for your card wasn’t working, so if you’d like me to add it, can you send me a picture, please?
